Corporate Climate Action Network
As a member of the Unternehmensnetzwerk Klimaschutz we are aware of the challenges posed by climate change and wish to play an active role in achieving climate protection targets.
We are developing a comprehensive understanding of the impact our company has on the climate and where there is room for improvement. Based on this, we are setting climate targets and strategies for our company that are in line with the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
Our commitment to being a climate-conscious company
As part of our membership of the Corporate Climate Protection Network, we set specific reduction targets, define the measures we will take to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and resource consumption, and regularly review our progress towards these targets.
We source our electricity from Bürgerwerke. Bürgerwerke’s electricity is 100% green electricity from Germany – by citizens, for citizens.
Cardboard boxes are reused in dispatch wherever possible. We recycle old, unusable cardboard boxes into padding material for our parcel shipments. For padding fragile goods, we use compostable chips made from corn starch.
We use e-invoices whenever possible.
We are stepping up our efforts to combat climate change
At trade fairs and conferences, we use reusable carpets and materials. Our promotional gifts are practical and useful - not disposable pens.
We have replaced all our light bulbs with energy-saving LED technology.
We have been using an electric vehicle for business travel since 2018, charging it with community-generated electricity at our in-house callbox. Where possible, we avoid business travel and use online meeting tools instead.

We focus on active knowledge transfer
We are looking to engage with the network to learn from others and to inspire them with our own experiences and best practices in corporate climate action.
Our aim is to raise awareness of climate protection within the business community and to demonstrate that we are committed to doing our bit for a sustainable future.
Together with our staff, we are developing a climate-conscious corporate culture and building up expertise in climate protection within the company.
