Silicone model
The MammaCare method of breast self-examination is a learning system featuring a silicone model designed to mimic real breast tissue. It contains different types of tissue and five lumps of varying sizes and textures. Using this model, you can learn to feel for and distinguish between normal and abnormal structures in the breast.

Care instructions
• Store the model at room temperature.
• The model should be stored flat and kept in its box after use.
• From time to time, you can dust the model to keep the surface supple. Please do not dust the back of the model.
• Use cornflour for this, not talcum powder, which could damage the surface of the model.
• If your model needs cleaning, use mild soap or a mild washing-up liquid and cold or lukewarm water.
• Avoid piercing the silicone model with sharp fingernails.
